Parade
National Tour · dir. Michael Arden · Mr. Turner / u/s Leo Frank & Hugh Dorsey
Parade is one of the most devastating pieces of American musical theatre — Alfred Uhry's account of the wrongful conviction and lynching of Leo Frank in 1913 Georgia. Directed by Michael Arden, this national tour brought the show to audiences across the country following its celebrated Broadway revival.
I covered Leo Frank and Hugh Dorsey and performed as Mr. Turner each night. View clip →
“Opening night in Houston, though, the pair was replaced by understudies Ethan Riordan and Jenny Hickman. Their act two duets of ‘This is Not Over Yet’ and ‘All the Wasted Time’ were some of the best performances I have seen on any stage anywhere. They were tight, on-point, but also so heartfelt that you could feel every emotion bursting around them. It's wild to think these two are the understudies, because I felt every note.”

tick, tick… BOOM!
Pittsburgh CLO · dir. Martha Banta · as Jonathan Larson · Photography: KG Tunney
“Ethan Riordan as Larson was masterfully wistful and melancholy. Riordan was captivatingly subtle in his performance, drawing the audience intimately into his character, becoming Larson. His musical prowess was evident in his ability to accompany himself on the piano in many numbers.”

Little Women in Concert
Connecticut Stage Company · dir. Kate Simone · as Laurie

“Ethan Riordan is positively endearing as Laurie. Riordan plays up the boyish charm of the character, and the audience can't help but fall in love with him from his very first entrance. His rendition of ‘Take a Chance on Me’ is spot-on.”

Tutoring
One-on-one tutoring
I've been working with students K–12 for many years, primarily in SAT and ACT test prep, college essay writing, and college consulting.
I struggled with a lot of anxiety in high school — and honestly, I still have to get over it every time I walk on stage or perform a new song. That experience shapes how I work with students. The college process is stressful enough without feeling like you're doing it alone. My goal is to make it feel manageable, even at its most overwhelming: to help students find their own voice, build confidence in their work, and actually enjoy the process of figuring out who they are and where they want to go.
My students have gone on to their top-choice schools, including Ivy League universities and other highly selective programs.
SAT & ACT Prep
Targeted, strategic prep that meets students where they are. We work on content, pacing, and test-taking confidence — not just practice problems.
College Essays
The best college essays sound like the person who wrote them. I help students find their story, sharpen their voice, and write something they're genuinely proud of.
College Consulting
School lists, timelines, applications, and decisions — I guide students and families through the whole process so nothing falls through the cracks.
Subject tutoring
Also available for subject tutoring in Algebra 1 & 2, ELA, History, Essay Writing, AP US History, AP Human Geography, Executive Functions coaching, and more.
